This morning we announced that our FedRAMP SaaS-compliant Federal Private Cloud was granted an agency Authority to Operate (ATO) by the Department of Commerce, US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). With this ATO, US federal and state government agencies have the added assurance that another agency has reviewed Project Hosts’ Federal Private Cloud and determined that it meets the regulatory and legislative requirements mandated by FISMA and FedRAMP.
“An ATO from the Department of Commerce demonstrates Project Hosts security through FedRAMP,” said Matt Goodrich, Director of FedRAMP. “This authorization can also be re-used by other Government entities with the same assurances of security.”
Project Hosts’ Federal Private Cloud environment is a FedRAMP SaaS-compliant cloud that leverages Microsoft Azure and includes a number of solution platforms including Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Microsoft SharePoint, and Microsoft Project Server (PPM). Options are available for community, hybrid and private cloud models, giving offices and agencies the flexibility to implement customizations, use approved third-party applications and add-ons, and real-time business intelligence reports.
“An ATO from the Department of Commerce for their Federal Private Cloud is another important accreditation that enables us to better serve all government agencies at both the federal and state level,” said Sean Barkey, Federal Account Executive for Project Hosts, Inc. “By gaining an ATO from the USPTO, government agencies are fully assured that this FedRAMP SaaS-compliant cloud meets all necessary security standards.”
