The U.S. Government is one of the fastest growing Cloud Computing Markets for CSPs, Microsoft Partners and ISVs

Scott-Chapman-FedRAMPThe U.S. government launched the “Cloud-first” initiative in 2011, and mandated its implementation via FedRAMP in 2014 —  this means that U.S. Government agencies are now required to implement the majority of their computing resources in the cloud, as opposed to spending their precious IT budgets on staff and on premise solutions. With government agencies now required to use FedRAMP compliant solutions, many CSPs (Cloud Service Providers), Partners and ISVs are benefiting from one of the fastest-growing and lucrative markets they’ve seen in decades.

Microsoft Partners and Independent Software Vendors can access and service this growing market by partnering with Project Hosts.  Project Hosts is 100% FedRAMP SaaS Compliant, supporting Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Microsoft Sharepoint and Microsoft Project Server.  Microsoft Partners and ISVs can leverage Project Hosts’s compliance, and work with Project Hosts to gain their own FedRAMP SaaS Compliance for their software and cloud solutions.

FedRAMP is a U.S. government-wide program that provides a standardized approach to security assessment, authorization and continuous monitoring for cloud products and services. The program was developed to significantly reduce the effort and expense that would be incurred by government agencies to achieve high-level standards for securing government data. Designed as an “approve once, deploy many” program, authorized CSPs would attain a provisional Authority To Operate (ATO) and provide cloud services for many agencies. Government agencies can then select an authorized CSP in an effort to save taxpayer expense on government IT infrastructure and cloud applications.  Learn more about our FedRAMP platforms from these links:
