Microsoft Project Server (PPM), Dynamics CRM and SharePoint Clouds From (CSP) Project Hosts Achieve “Readiness” Status For FedRAMP SaaS-Level Cloud Authorization

"Cloud First" FedRAMP Authorization for Project Server, Dynamics CRM and SharePointWe’re excited to announce that we have achieved “readiness” status by the FedRAMP Joint Authorization Board to undergo the FedRAMP SaaS authorization process for our private cloud solutions for U.S. Government agencies.

As a Cloud Service Provider (CSP), Project Hosts is on track to be the first vendor to deliver SaaS-level FedRAMP authorization for Microsoft Project Server, Dynamics CRM and SharePoint private clouds. Currently, we deliver private cloud solutions for government agencies on a FedRAMP authorized Platform as a Service (PaaS) environment.

FedRAMP Authorized SaaSIn this next phase of the FedRAMP process, Project Hosts will achieve an Authority To Operate (ATO) as a Cloud Service Provider (CSP) for Software as a Service (SaaS), making the company eligible to do business with any government agency seeking cloud hosting services for Microsoft Project Server, Dynamics CRM or SharePoint clouds.

“By becoming FedRAMP authorized at the SaaS level for PPM, CRM and SharePoint, we are removing a huge IT burden and expense for any government agency that elects to host these applications on a FedRAMP PaaS authorized environment,” said Scott Chapman, CEO and Co-Founder of Project Hosts, Inc.  “A FedRAMP SaaS-level authorization means that we have already implemented the hundreds of additional security controls required for a government PPM, CRM and SharePoint cloud, thus relieving them from having to do so.”
