Today, in a joint collaboration with our application partner BrightWork, we announced support for BrightWork Online in one of our SharePoint Custom Clouds on Azure. This new BrightWork Online offering is based on the latest BrightWork release and is now available across all continents, in more languages and currencies, in more data centers, and includes US FedRAMP and UK IL2 security standards support.
You can find out more about the BrightWork Online solution in booth #2009 at the SharePoint Conference in Las Vegas from March 3rd through March 6th. BrightWork has nearly two decades of experience in delivering project management solutions that are designed for users with experience in Microsoft Project based solutions and built on the SharePoint platform. Using a unique templates and dashboards approach, BrightWork customers can start quickly and evolve at their own pace benefiting from faster user adoption, lower ROI and higher project success.
“With a BrightWork Online solution deployed and managed by Project Hosts in Azure we can now deliver the same professional-grade level of online services across every continent,” said Eamonn McGuinness, CEO and founder of BrightWork Online. “By partnering with Project Hosts’ Azure-based offering we gain incredible deployment leverage, without having to commoditize our cloud offerings. We can continue to offer solutions that can be tuned to each customer’s specific business and technical needs.”
“BrightWork Online is the perfect example of a new generation of applications from industry leading vendors that are built on the SharePoint platform,” said Scott Chapman, CEO and Cofounder of Project Hosts. “By hosting their application on our SharePoint Custom Cloud in Azure, Eamonn and the BrightWork team have unparalleled global deployment leverage.”
Project Hosts utilizes Microsoft Azure’s platform. Azure is a FedRAMP authorized platform that supports the U.S. government’s “Cloud-First” initiative to enable U.S. federal agencies to use managed service providers that enable cloud computing capabilities. Windows Azure is a secure and reliable cloud platform that enables companies like Project Hosts to quickly build, deploy and manage applications in a SaaS offering across Microsoft’s extensive network of data centers.
