Our SharePoint Custom Cloud is expected to be FedRAMP approved by the fall of 2014.

This morning we announced that our hosted SharePoint 2013 platform is expected to be FedRAMP approved by this fall.  With FedRAMP approval, U.S. Government Agencies will be able to take advantage of SharePoint cloud solutions and applications from Microsoft partners quickly and cost effectively.

Our SharePoint, PPM and CRM-based Custom Cloud solutions already use a FedRAMP-approved Windows Azure cloud infrastructure, but we are now going through the control and assessment process to ensure that SharePoint 2013 is also fully FedRAMP approved.

The SharePoint Custom Cloud delivers a dedicated solutions architecture, specialized security, real-time business intelligence and Microsoft partner applications support.

Project Hosts will leverage this FISMA / NIST compliant, and “Cloud First” platform to deliver dedicated, private cloud, hosted SharePoint solutions and applications that are specifically tuned to U.S. Government agency requirements.

Unlike shared, multi-tenant SharePoint public clouds, we deliver SharePoint hosting and Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions that provide dedicated environments with the customized security, partner applications and real-time reporting requirements that U.S. Government offices and agencies require.

“Our commitment to supporting SharePoint application partners, such as BrightWork, is a critical element in delivering SharePoint solutions to government agencies,” said Scott Chapman, CEO and Co-founder of Project Hosts, Inc.  “With FedRAMP P-ATO authorization and FISMA / NIST standards compliance we will be able to deliver more SharePoint private cloud solutions to far more U.S. Government agencies and departments.”
