Microsoft released the first service pack for the 2007 Microsoft Office suites yesterday. Over 400 fixes and improvements in the areas of security, stability and performance are included in the service pack release. At 219 megabytes, the service pack combines previously released fixes into one update.
The service pack updates both client and server products. Fixes for the Project products include addressing problems with printing or print previewing large projects, finding custom field data missing, an inability to save the baseline or having the save take a long time, and false error messages cropping up when saving a Project 2003 XML file to Project Server 2007.
Project Hosts will roll out SP1 across our services working in conjunction with our clients to address their specific situations and needs.
